Waki what?

Wakinyan is a Lakota (Teton Sioux) word for "Thunder". In a mythical context, the word is taken to mean "Thunder bird" - and is the icon for our bike club.

What's Happening?

We have planned some great entertainment - Rock DJ and live bands on the two evenings. There'll be proper toilets, full bar, infantile games and possibly a trade stall or two. There'll probably be a "Name That Tune Rock Quiz" and we gotta repeat the Rock Karaoke, it was just too good to ignore!

Saturday afternoon, there is a ride out to the National Memorial Arboretum, near Lichfield. The Arboretum is the home of the Armed Forces Memorial and already contains 150 memorials of national significance.

Kids!!!

Bring yer kids! We'll do our best to look after 'em for an hour or two, while you have a bit of respite at the bar. There might be a DVD or three to watch and silly balloons to play with. Might charge ya a couple of quid depending on the "nanny" or how boisterous they look!!
